Dear rally friends,

We are extremely sorry to announce that the Abu Dhabi Classic 2008 has to be postponed. Due to a unforeseeable problem in transport logistics Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority decided to adjourn the 2008 event. An event with some cars delayed would not have been acceptable. We apologize to those who had inconveniences and who had made their preparations and scheduling for February.

Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority is now looking forward to an durable solution. Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and FIA are about to find suitable and advantageous new dates for the Abu Dhabi Classic. We can assure you that a quick answer will be found and we will do our very best to regain confidence in the event from the Historic Rally community.

As soon as the dates are agreed with FIA they will be republished on our website. This should happen by the end of February 2008. The organizers assure you that the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority as the host of the Abu Dhabi Classic will do their very best to provide a save, excellent and memorable event for the owners of historical rally cars.
